Photo Captions

For house:
A well known neighborhood house collapses after the Friday night Earthquake. Rosie and Edward, who live in the house, were found injured but alive in the wreckage.

For army:
Parents Chuck and Sarah celebrate the long anticipated homecoming. Chuck's two-year stint in Afghanistan came to an end last Friday.

For Jet:
An army drill goes downhill after an unfortunate piloting error. Joe, the pilot, was reprimanded but walked away unharmed.

Why was this change in the way GPA’s are calculated made?
Who will it benefit and who will it damage?
What is the percentage of students in regulars in the top 10%? (How many kids are in Pre-AP/AP classes?)
Do you think this will be taken advantage of at all? (Taking electives less seriously?)
What will the repercussions for doing badly on electives be now?
Whose decision was this?
What grade of students will it begin with? (Specifically will it apply to all grades or only upcoming freshmen?)
Give a brief explanation of the current system, how grades are calculated etc.
Is there anyone you know with a interesting view on the proposed system? (Who can I interview?)

BPA silent auction:

What is the auction funding?
Whose idea was the auction?
Is this an annual event or new (explain)?
What is BPA (give brief description for purpose and part in the school)?
How is the auction running? (Specifically who is providing materials?)
When is it taking place and how much profit is expected?
Who will be bidding on what items?
How did BPA do previous funding/what was previous funding used for?
Who else could I interview (main participators?)

Boys Basketball:

To Coach:
Explain what’s going on this year: what is the schedule is there anything new?
(Because scholarships have already been covered) Which players will be the new leaders of the team?
(Follow up on injury and small recap of scholarship)
How are the seasons run for Boys’ basketball? (What happened last year, what are the changes for this year?)

To Players (specifically new leaders)

It’s a ways away, but how do you plan to lead the team/do you plan to play next year?
How do you feel about your teammates moving on?
What other sports have you played?
Is basketball your focus?

To Interviewee last semester:
It’s a while away, but how do you feel about moving on from high school/ who do you think should take your place?
What would your advice to newer players be?
